The new Actions Page

What a summer it has been so far! While we hope that you managed to catch a break and enjoy some sunshine, we’ve been hard at work, renewing another fundamental pillar of our app: the Actions Page.

Things might look similar on the surface but we’ve completely re-engineered everything that’s going on under the hood. This was a necessary step for us to be able to implement all those incredible features which have evolved over the last weeks and months thanks to your feedback - you can expect more exciting updates in the near future.

So, what’s already new today - let’s take a look!

Visual Changes

Updating rate prices can be a tedious task - so we want make sure that we are making your life easier with every update:

  • We are switching from a month view to a date range picker on the Actions Page defaulting to the next 30 days. This will allow you to quickly view desired date ranges at once and easily update all optimal prices across a date range.
  • Past days are … well past, so by default we will no longer show them.
  • The design of the Rate Pricing and Occupancy table is now coherent, allowing for an easy context switch between the two. Yeah!
  • In case you have Inventory Groups defined (see last point), these will now be displayed on the table.

Bulk Price Update

Have you ever wanted to update the price for all of your weekends three months ahead of time? Well, now it’s possible. We added another option to the Bulk Price Update, which allows you define which days of the week you want your bulk price update to be applied to.

Inventory Groups

Inventory Groups allow users to systematically group inventory together and establish a price hierarchy within this group. This enables Pace to analyse demand for an inventory group on aggregate and consider the specified price hierarchy when providing price recommendations for the grouped room types. If this sounds interesting to you, please get in touch with us, so we can help you set up your inventory groups which will be displayed on the dashboard.
